This is my colours scheme mood board where I tried out different colours to see what worked and what didn’t. The colour scheme that I finally decided on was the one in the centre of Navy Blue, Gold, Grey/Silver and White. I chose this because it gave me a mix of colours to work with as well as keeping the magazine professional looking as the colours are quite subtle and are not as harsh as some of the other colour schemes (such as the one on the 2nd row, on the right). However, they are strong enough to give the magazine some impact, unlike the creamy colour scheme on the middle row, on the left. Some of the other colour schemes made me feel like I didn’t have much to work with and play around with (such as the red and the pinks) so I went for the one which I felt had the greatest impact, but balance.Friday, 28 January 2011
